Doctors Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders is a worldwide movement. In French, it is called " Médecins Sans Frontières" (MSF) It is an international organization that provides emergency medical assistance to victims of natural disasters and difficult political, economic and social situations like wars and famines .It was formed by a group of French doctors in 1971 .The group now has got more than 2000 people in 80 different countries around the world . The organization was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999. Just speaking about them makes me feel as if flying to another world full of love, solidarity and sacrifice!

Seeing people suffer pushes me to work harder and make more efforts to follow my dream, the dream of being a doctor and joining them in their noble cause; they don't care about their lives; their only objective is to save people's lives and alleviate their sufferings; in doing that, they sometimes have to travel far away and forget their families; they shouldn't think about "comfort". More than that, they may place themselves in dangerous circumstances; they know they may die while trying to save others but it doesn't matter!

They embody exceptional qualities as they are kind-hearted and ready to sacrifice their comfort, time, money and sometimes life for the sake of making other people feel better regardless of religion, culture, origin; it is enough to be human to deserve love, support and help. That's why such doctors are my Heroes!
